Our story begins with the acquisition of Sapori Antichi company, based in Villa Santina (Udine, Friuli Venezia Giulia), by Federico Soldati in 2016.
Guided by his passion for culinary excellence, Federico set himself the goal of renewing pasta production, bringing it to the highest levels of excellence. This is the turning point: Pastificio
Soldati brand was born from the fusion of the traditions of Sapori Antichi and Federico's innovative vision.
His mission is clear: to spread the joy of real Italian pasta throughout the world, keeping a strong connection with the roots of tradition.

OUR STORY BEGINS HERE
At the border between Austria and Veneto, nestled in the beautiful setting of the Alps, there is an extraordinary territory rich in history, traditions and culture. It is a place where nature has always played the leading role. This magical land is called Carnia.

It is thanks to these unique and uncontaminated places that we can bring authentic and unforgettable flavours to the table of our loyal customers.
Here in Carnia, you can breathe a truly special atmosphere. In this area, the mountains, which are not so high, and the relative proximity to the Adriatic Sea are two fundamental elements that contribute to a particular climate without evident temperature changes. Even the water for the dough of our pasta comes from the springs of this area.
In Carnia, we are jealously linked to our traditions, especially our culinary ones.
Some recipes, in fact, date back to the dawn of time and are secretly transmitted from generation to generation.
